Top 5 Food and Drink Android Apps in Netherlands Q3 2022

In the third quarter of 2022, the top Food and Drink apps on the Android platform in the Netherlands showed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 5K in late June and peaking at around 16.7K in mid-September. The app also saw a steady rise in weekly active users, growing from 214K to 325K over the quarter.

Thuisbezorgd.nl had a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, fluctuating around 5K to 7K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users remained consistent, with a slight increase from 129K to 132K by the end of September.

Jumbo Extra's showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 3.6K in late June and reaching approximately 8K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also demonstrated growth, rising from 153K to 187K during the same period.

McDonald's maintained a steady download rate, ranging from around 3.9K to 4.6K weekly. However, the app saw a more variable trend in active users, starting at 113K in late June and peaking at about 124K in early July before fluctuating and ending the quarter at 93K.

Domino's Pizza Nederland had a mixed performance in weekly downloads, with a significant spike to 7.5K in mid-July but generally ranging between 2.5K and 5.6K for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 5.8K in late June and peaking at 13.5K in mid-July, then stabilizing around 10K towards the end of September.
